Montessori (3 – 5 Years ECCE)

In our Montessori classrooms we offer a full Montessori preschool curriculum under Aistear, the early learning framework. Your child is allowed the freedom to choose their own work within the boundaries of the curriculum and with the expectation of appropriate behaviour towards others. At Play Together, attention is given to social, emotional, and physical growth, with a focus on the development of each child’s self-confidence and self-discipline.

Through our service’s Montessori based preschool curriculum, your child will glide into primary school with confidence, excellent social skills, and a respect for others and their environment. We strive to provide an environment which preserves and nurtures your child’s innate love of learning. We aim to help each child reach their full potential through meaningful play and life experiences. We have a large outdoor space where we spend lots of time playing and learning.

We will keep you updated in real time through our Little Vista app so you can stay connected with your child’s day.

In our Montessori at Carlow Educate Together N.S, while our ECCE times are from 9:00am to 12:00pm, we do offer an option of early drop off and late collection from 8:00am until 1:15pm or 2:30pm. This is a valuable option for parents commuting to work, or parents who also have to collect children from the primary school.

For families that require full day care, we transport children from Montessori to our Church Road creche where they can remain in our care in the Busy Bee Afternoon Room until 6:00pm. Dinner and evening snacks are provided for children after school.

We provide breakfast for early drop ins and lunch is brought in from home. We can provide a home collection service in the mornings where needed; our staff will collect children in the company vehicles.
